Expert Recruiting Platform

Since launching KnowledgeBid nearly a year ago, our goal has been to respond to our customers’ needs and to make the KnowledgeBid platform more useful. Expert Network Management Software

Integrity Research Associates will soon publish a forecast for the expert network industry in they will call for continued growth coupled with greater compliance requirements, competition, and a trend towards expert network internalization on the buy-side. We at KnowledgeBid wholeheartedly agree with this forecast. NYSE Panel: “Expert Networks: Issues and Opportunities for Public Companies”

The morning the New York Stock Exchange hosted a panel entitled “Expert Networks: Issues and Opportunities for Public Companies”. The session was moderated by Keith Ackerman, who is Global Head of Next Generation Research at Thomson Financial. On the panel were Howard Dicker, Partner at Weil, Gotshal; Jonathan Glick, Director of Research Operations at the Gerson Lehrman Group; Michael Lynch, Managing Director, Global Commission Management at Merrill Lynch; and Michael Mayhew, Chairman & Co-CEO at Integrity Research. The Future of the Investment Research Industry

The folks at Integrity Research Associates recently published an interesting forecast for the investment research industry. Integrity provides syndicated research and consulting services to the investment community. In short, the Integrity is forecasting a continued decline in “traditional” investment research consumption from investment banks and research analysts, coupled with a continued increase in demand for alternative research services. Integrity cites Regulation FD, soft dollar codification, and continuing technological innovation as the major drivers in the revolution. New Feature: Bling for Your Blog

Yet another feature release…providers can now put KnowledgeBid buttons and links on their blogs, websites, social networking pages, or online resumes and link to their KnowledgeBid public profiles. These buttons will help providers promote their profiles allow people to create private listings with them directly. New Feature: Public Profiles

Joe has been really cranking. Providers can now create public profiles to promote themselves and their areas of expertise. Public profile content is generated from your private profile content. New Feature: Private Listings

You may have noticed a new button on our homepage that says “Private Listings”. If you missed it, it’s in green right next to the public listings button (screenshot included below). We recently finished private listing functionality and think folks will find it extremely useful. In short, anyone can initiate a private listing directly with anyone else so long as you know their email address.
